Knit Lace Scarf

I just finished knitting my blue lace scarf. I've been wanting to try making a triangular lace scarf for a while, but I thought that it would take a long time, and be really difficult.

It turned out to be much easier than I anticipated! I started this scarf about 2 weeks ago, finished knitting on Tuesday, blocked it on Wednesday, and now I'm actually wearing it!

Polyjuice Potion

When I was making dinner last night I looked down into my mixing bowl and realized that at this step in the process dinner looked a lot like Polyjuice Potion, from the Harry Potter books.

Sprocket

Sprocket is getting pretty big.

But he's still a happy puppy. Look at his wagg-a-ly tail!

Fog

This morning it was foggy and cold out. While walking Sprocket at 5:30 this morning, I noticed that even though it wasn't raining, my mittens were getting wet just from the air.

A foggy morning at ground level looks a lot different than a foggy morning at the 25th floor. From my office I could see above the fog. The fog sort of rolls down the Willamette, covering the city. I could even see Mt. Hood in the distance.
